Commodity futures in commodities are down sharply on the day after the U.K. and Germany imposed new limits on how much they can trade.
The benchmark EIA Energy Services contract, which measures the market for gasoline and diesel, is down by $1.19 to $46.39/lb.
The EIA Dollar Index is down 0.2% to $1,239.42/lb., while the S&P 500 index is down 1.3% to 1,890.07.
The price of crude oil is also down.
Brent crude fell $1 to $52.50/barrel.
U.T.O. crude was down $2.10 to $45.97/barrell.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 4.7% to 17,744.05.
The Nasdaq Composite is down 3.6% to 5,811.30.
The CBOE Volatility Index is up 5.4% to 16.11.
The MSCI Dow Jones US index is up 0.9% to 2,051.13.
